Still at it... paperworks...

Can't believe it, but i have to believe it. Paperwork in this country is never ending. Not to mention, my Account Rep. (tax) ain't doin' SH**T in her office. Just chillin' and lookin' funny. She suppose to help me with my tax forms and all... But... no... I've to be put in deep SH**T first before I found out that our building tax has to be paid by us the renter, with the owner's money. Now I've confused you... Anyways... deal with it! Basically the sweetest response to this whole thing... But SKAI is MOVING FORWARD! Thank God... we're submitting our second biggest lump of paperwork today. We'll see what'll happen... now you can comment... :)

How do you meet the MOST Top Person of a HUGE Company?

You make it happen, make the opportunity exist! That is how you do it. Last night SKAI team and I met that one and only person, the top most number one person of this HUGE Mining company in the world. There he was, minggling in the cocktail party where we were invited to, by the OZMINE event. Mining event exhibition for Australian Mining companies looking for investement and market opportunities in Indonesia. Why was he there? Representing the Indonesian Mining Association as the director. Man o man... he must be very busy. After waiting for a little bit I finally got a flash of time gap to cut in to where he was walking towards and introduce myself. "I'm just another old man", he says. "The old man who found Grasberg mine", I said. It was a good conversation, and exchange of business cards place. I'm happy. This opportunity would never happen if SKAI didn't seek for it. We'll see where we go from here. Not long after, got a call from our associate.....

Meet the BIG players

A few weeks ago, as part of our strategical thinking we've met the former leader of the Industry in the country. What a lunch break... more than 3 hours of chit chat! I guess it was a very good and synchronized learning and acquaintance meet. Very inspiring at the same time. There are rules to be followed in the industry. People to know and to respect... and of course... the unevitible practices...

Starting from the Net!

Starting with a few people, SKAI grows in the internet world. Starting as a company that no one knows... but try typing the word 'kebakaran' in google.com or yahoo.com. Skai should be easy to spot! :) The Internet is something else. Understanding that the largest market for the company (mining, oil gas industries, etc), the company has dedicated a hefty proportion of its attention to the virtual internet world. In Mining and Gas Industries, internet hold a VERY critical roles. No mining/ oilgas company can run without it, as part of their operational backbone. Emails, file sharing, document/ information searching, all done through the internet. Why is this important for SKAI? Well, these companies would go through the internet first to find what they need for their operations. 99% of the time, they are very likely to be located away, remote, and even to the furthest points of the planets. Where the valuable mining minerals and oil deposits are located. Would you go out there wi...
